Singapore Airline SIN-SYD-SIN

tried to be nicer to my stomach and ordered the gluten free meal...
getting your food before everyone else does... yay
getting weird food... nay
rice cake... big nayyyy

thats poached (trans: tasteless) salmon sandwiched between rice cakes... errr.....

i kept getting this orange juice with every meal... i'm wondering if normal orange juice contained gluten??? anyway.. this taste scarily similar to "go-go" but with no pulp...

"go-go" for those who are wondering is this orange drink that's somehow readily available when I was younger but seem to only find in random hotels mini-bar nowadays...

fruit platter meal

someone got confused and threw a bread roll with the gluten-free meal which i have to try really hard not to take a bite off...

chargrilled pumpkin and paprika... would have been okay if i like spelt bread... but i dont...
i prefer my bread light and fluffy... (in fact, i like it too much that i develop the stupid intolerance...)

omelette and pumpkin mash

the good thing is though... i noticed i'm a lot less bloated and sluggish...
the bad thing is... i'm extremely irritable when i have to eat weird food... if you think airplane food is weird enough... try gluten-free... nyahahhaha

Why do you have to order gluten-free meal? D'you have gluten allergy or something? The food looks weirddd btw.

I asked for a vegetarian meal once in SIA...but when the stewardess brought the food to my seat, she didn't say 'vegetarian'...she said, "SIR, DID YOU ORDER THE HINDU MEAL??"

I said..."er...yeees, I suppose."

LOL

hmmm that's quite an oversight to throw in a breadroll in a gluten free meal. My neice has been getting the gluten free meal on SIA since she was about 4, so if the parents aren't keeping a close attention on them, there could be some trouble there!!

i'm wheat intolerant... SQ dont acknowledge that and the closest thing is gluten-free meal... (if you're thinking how is that even possible when you've seen me eating bread countless times before??? exactly... i overdosed on it... apparently... )

LOL... hindu meal.... a group of people in front of me had the hindu/vegetarian meal... i was sooo tempted to steal their naan...
