the closest thing to the hotel...
and it has uncanny resemblance to a place we always go to back home..
literally shavings of young coconut in orange juice... somehow the flavor of each of the ingredients were kept separate... cant see the point of mixing the two, but have somehow develop an attachment to the drink throughout my visit...
chili... grounded? every place seem to have their own secret ingredient and is one way for me to separate the good from the very good when it comes to indo food...
shredded veggies smothered with peanut sauce... almost like gado-gado, but veggies are cut smaller and slight variation of veggies used... i noticed daun jeruk??... anyway i grew up eating this dish... a must order every time..
Every other asian restaurant will probably have a variation of this dish, but this one trumps it all... see the generous fillingsss???
not exactly my choice... i kept thinking of cancer while eating this one.. its a mixture of charcoal and kecap manis... seriously, there's a million other way of cooking fish...

LOVE Pondok Laguna. Especially the tahu isi (or I think it's called tahu kipas)...been coming there since I'm a tiny kid...
Used to love this place until they suddenly jacked up the price by more than 50%!!!
